Short answer

To increase sales on Amazon India, first fix the listing (title, images, bullets, A+ content), then make the offer competitive (price, delivery speed, stock), then bring traffic with Sponsored Products ads and reviews. Most low-selling listings fail at the first step, not the ads.

1. Find out where you are losing buyers

In Seller Central, look at Business Reports: sessions (people who saw the page) and unit session percentage (how many bought). Few sessions means a visibility problem. Many sessions but few orders means the listing or price is the problem. Fix the right one.

3. Make the images do the selling

A clean white-background main image, then lifestyle photos, size and dimension images, close-ups of material and a picture that answers the most common question. On a phone, images are what buyers look at first.

4. Use bullets to answer objections

Five bullets: what it is, who it is for, material and quality, size and fit, care or warranty. Write like you are answering a customer at the counter.

5. Add A+ content if you have Brand Registry

A+ content adds comparison charts and image modules below the listing. It helps buyers trust a new brand. It needs Amazon Brand Registry, which needs a registered or applied trademark.

6. Price with the full cost in mind

Calculate referral fee, closing fee, shipping, GST and returns before setting price. Being slightly cheaper than similar listings with the same delivery speed often wins the Buy Box.

7. Improve delivery speed

Faster delivery badges increase conversions. Compare Self Ship, Easy Ship and Fulfilment by Amazon for your product size and order volume.

8. Never run out of stock

Going out of stock drops your ranking. Keep a simple sheet of daily sales and reorder before stock falls below two weeks of sales.

9. Get genuine reviews the right way

Use Amazon's own Request a Review button and Amazon Vine if eligible. Never offer money or gifts for reviews; Amazon removes them and can suspend accounts.

10. Start Sponsored Products with a small budget

Run an automatic campaign for two weeks, then move the search terms that sell into a manual campaign. Add non-converting terms as negatives. Check ACoS weekly.

11. Use deals and coupons around sale events

Coupons and Lightning Deals work best during Prime Day and the Great Indian Festival when traffic is high. Prepare stock and listings a month earlier.

12. Keep account health green

Ship on time, reply to buyer messages within 24 hours and keep the cancellation and defect rates low. Poor health quietly reduces visibility.

Questions

How can I increase Amazon sales without ads?

Fix the listing first (images, title, bullets, A+), price competitively, offer fast delivery and collect genuine reviews. Organic sales improve when conversion improves.

Is A+ content available for every seller?

No. You need Amazon Brand Registry, which requires a registered or applied trademark.

How much should I spend on Amazon ads?

Start small, for example a few hundred rupees a day, measure ACoS for two weeks, then scale only the keywords that sell.
